Student Resources

Math is known to be the “great equalizer,” so if you get enough practice, you too can be an amazing mathematician! I have seen this year after year with my students! Below are some websites that have helped my students become masterful mathematicians.

iXLIKnowIt.com
iXL.com
Great website to practice key math skills for each grade level. Getting a SmartScore of 85 or better shows that you understand the skill.
IKnowIt.com
Great website to practice key math skills for each grade level. Most levels will feature 15 practice problems. Try to score 70% or better
Khan Academy
This is a great website for videos and practice problems. There are mini-quizzes at the end of the video tutorials.

ST Math
Great program to practice skills that you have learned in the classroom. This requires a subscription.
SuperSTEM
Great website for math articles and games. They also have videos that explain skills from the that month’s articles. This requires a subscription.
Number Munchers
This is a game from your parent’s childhood, but it was a favorite of my students! You can work on prime numbers, mutliples, and factors, but try not to get eaten! This requires a computer.

Math Antics
I love playing these videos for my students when I am introducing a new skill because Rob is entertaining and explains the materials really well.
NumbeRock
I also love playing these videos for my students when I am introducing a new skill because the songs are really really good! My students will keep singing these songs long after my lesson is over, and it helps them remember the skill!
Arcademics
This website has lots of games, and it is also an app for your tablet. Students love to race against each other with multiplication or division facts, but they also have other math skills that you can race to get.
