Math Resources for Week of October 29 – November 2, 2018 (Intro to Fractions)

This week we will still talk about parts of a whole, but this time, we will look at FRACTIONS.  Here are the specifics:

  • Review fraction concepts (vocabulary), adding and subtracting fractions with like denominators, comparing fractions, converting decimals to fractions
  • Generate equivalent fractions
  • write fractions in simplest form
  • Convert mixed numbers to improper fractions and improper fractions to mixed numbers
