This week we will start multiplying decimals by whole numbers. Students should be able to:
- Use models to multiply a decimal by a whole number
- Use a traditional algorithm to multiply a decimal by a whole number
- Understand how to move the decimal to the right or left when multiplying by powers of 10
- Understand that multiplying a decimal by a whole number is just like repeated addition
