Math Resources for Week of September 5 – 8, 2017 (Place Value)

For our third instructional week, we will continue review PLACE VALUE!

The Big Idea:  This week, we will focus on:

• Understand that the place value to the left of a digit represents 10 times that value, and the digit to right represents 1/10 of that digit.
• Understand the value of each digit in a number
• Compare and order whole numbers to the billions place
• Round numbers to the hundred thousands place
